One Practice. Three Integrated Areas of Care
From individual therapy to parent work and school-wide systems, our practice holds the full ecology that shapes a child, a family, and a community.
Counselling & Psychotherapy
Confidential, depth-oriented work for individuals, parents and families.
A focused space to understand current concerns, clarify what you are experiencing, and find new ways of navigating life’s challenges, with a trained therapist.
Deeper relational work that explores the underlying patterns, conflicts, and experiences that shape how you experience yourself and your relationships.
A space to tune in to your child, understand what lies beneath their behaviour, and explore how your own experiences shape the relationship you share.
Bringing the family system into the room to make space for what has become difficult to say, hear, or understand.
Parenting & Parent-Child Work
Understanding children. Strengthening connection.
Thoughtful, ongoing support for parents and children, from infancy through adolescence.
One-off or ongoing sessions to help parents navigate challenges with their children with greater understanding and confidence.
Understanding where your child is, developmentally and emotionally.
Small-group reflective workshops on focused parenting themes.
Our flagship reflective space; see below.
Coffee Mornings.
A reflective gathering for parents, over coffee and in small groups, with a Connect therapist. Not a class. Not a workshop. A conversation.
Held with the same depth as therapy, with the warmth of community. Parents bring real situations; we think through them together, slowly.
Reading early communications, attachment, and the meaning of play.
Anger, fear and refusal - how to remain a thinking parent under pressure.
Rivalry, loyalty and the developmental gift of having brothers and sisters.
Thinking together about technology without panic or permissiveness.
Why teenagers withdraw, push back, and need us differently.
How partnership shapes parenting and how parenting reshapes partnership.
Helping children through moves, illness, separation, and grief.
What we inherit, what we repeat, and what we choose to do differently.
School Consultancy
Connect helps schools move beyond compliance-driven approaches to create thoughtful frameworks where children are understood, adults are empowered, and systems promote well-being and accountability.
We review policies, practices, and support systems to identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities.
Building thoughtful counselling systems that strengthen counsellor practice.
Child protection and POCSO-aligned safeguarding, behaviour, and inclusion frameworks, grounded in reflective practice.
Training for teaching and non-teaching staff on child development, behaviour, & emotional well-being.
Our flagship training for educators - see below.
The Counselling-Informed
Educator Program™
The Counselling-Informed Educator Program introduces educators to basic counselling skills that help them respond to students with greater understanding, developmental awareness, sensitivity, and without judgement.
The program enables teachers to become more emotionally attuned adults who can listen, contain, and create a holding space for students and their feelings. Teachers learn how to be present with a child’s emotional experience without immediately trying to fix, advise, discipline, or interpret it. Where deeper emotional processing is needed, the school counsellor provides the professional space and support for this work.
